We are a new lab and are actively looking for curious, motivated people who enjoy working at the interface of physics, computation, and biology.

What we look for

We value curiosity, rigor, and a willingness to engage with hard problems across disciplinary boundaries. Prior experience in physics, biophysics, computational biology, or a related quantitative field is a plus, but enthusiasm and a strong foundation in quantitative reasoning matter most.

Our work is primarily theoretical and computational — a comfort with math and programming (Python, C++, or similar) is helpful. We collaborate closely with experimental groups and expect all lab members to engage with the biological context of our work.

Undergraduate students seeking research experience in genome biophysics are welcome to reach out. We value a background in physics, computer science, or other quantitative areas.
